It's time!!
I'm so excited and I really need your help.
After months of no heat and no electricity I'm finally moving on following God's lead. I found and applied for a 1-bedroom apartment today and after seeing it, I know it's a gift from God! It's beautiful, it's affordable, and it's in a Senior Community so I'll have so many new friends, new activities, and many pre-Christians who haven't heard about LifeChurch and One Prayer - YET!
Can you tell I'm excited?!
Now I need you to pray with me that I thoroughly follow God's plan on and in this because as many of you know it's not in my finances right now and yet it is TOTALLY in God's hands...and I trust Him completely.
So, I have a gas dryer that I will have to replace with an electric dryer, or maybe even just sell the washer and dryer.
What God laid out to me today is that I've got a bunch of cleaning and packing to do, lots of stuff to sell off to help with expenses, then start moving in to my new home on Saturday, April 18th. Clothing that doesn't sell will be donated to Mercy Ministries. I've lost 30+ lbs. in the last several months so much of it is XLg sizes.
Ok, so I'm moving from Del City to Norman (where I'm now working - woohoo!). I've got the $50 application fee and $50 deposit covered in my next paycheck unless I can get it any sooner, but God is holding the apartment for me. I'll be going from $725/mo rent to $504/mo and driving to work distance from 18 miles one way to 3 miles one way. Oh, yes, and I'll be looking for a bicycle, too! I'm so excited!!
Then I'll have a huge electric deposit since I've already cancelled and applied my previous deposit at the current house. I'm working with my landlord on a payment plan for the recent months' past due rents. The new apartment is totally electric so I will pay of the past dues on the gas bills as I can.
And best of all, I'll be allowing my son and his wife to experience adulthood and responsibility for themselves while I can still have the grandkids spend the weekend any time I want them! Go God!
So, please share in my excitement of my new future. Of course this means I'll be having LifeGroup again in MY OWN HOME if anyone's needing a group.
Oh, I'm soooooooooooooooooo excited. God is so good, so very good.
I love you all.
